Non-life threatening injuries suffered in stabbing in Pembroke

PEMBROKE —  On Friday, July 20, at approximately 8 p.m., the OPP responded to an incident on Bronx Street in Pembroke.

Two males were reported to be involved in an altercation involving an edged weapon.

The 28-year-old male victim was transported by Renfrew County Paramedics to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Raymond Griffith, 39, is charged for assault causing bodily harm s.267(b) of the Criminal Code.

Mr. Griffith’s next court appearance is Tuesday, July 31.

The investigation is continuing.
