It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sidney Walter Schroeder on Thursday, Dec the 31, 2020. Sidney passed away peacefully at the age of 86, in his bed at Fairfields Senior Living Center in Eganville, Ontario.

Sidney, of Silver Lake was born on January 22, 1934 to the late Arthur and Matilda Schroeder. Sidney will be forever remembered, loved and greatly missed by his loving children Dianne (Danny) Gustoskie, Cindy Schroeder-Aguasin, Larry (Sandra) Schroeder, Linda (Curt) Flannigan, Mark (Tracy) Schroeder and Audra (Randy) Shroeder. Sidney is also survived by and will always be remembered by his 18 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

We are forever thankful to the staff at Fairfields in Eganville for the great care and compassion they provided Sidney during his time there. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville and a celebration for life will be held in the spring. If desired memorial donations can be made to Fairfields Senior Living Center in Eganville, Ontario.

Myrtle Marie Schroeder (Marquardt)

Obituary for Myrtle Marie Schroeder (Marquardt)

Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital at the age of 98. Myrtle (Marquardt) Schroeder, predecease by her loving husband Clifford Schroeder in 2013, after being married for 73 years.

Loving mother of Shirley (Reiny Puhlman) of Calgary, Ralph of Golden Lake and Sandra (Bryce Gagon) of Eganville. She was a loving grandmother to Mark (deceased), Luke, James, Timothy, Christopher, Paula, Jennifer, Natasha, Natalie and Nicole. She will be remembered dearly by her 13 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

Myrtle was the last living member of her family, she was daughter of the late Albert and Augusta (Schauer) Marquardt and sibling to Rachel, Norbert, Victor, Wally, Temsa, Howard, Tommy and Audrey who all predeceased her.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Spring interment, St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery Germanicus. George James Oliver Early
July 15, 1943 – January 4, 2021

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to George who passed away at the Hospice Renfrew on Monday, January 04, 2021 at the age of 78. Son of the late Kenneth and Gertrude Early.
He will be lovingly remembered by Sisters Kennetha Selleck (late Sam), Edna Cybulski (Ron), Helen McPeak (Wayne), nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by Ed Coulas (Julie), Glen Currie (Kelly) and many friends.

The family wishes to express their sincere and grateful thanks to Dr. Allison Clarke, all of the staff and volunteers at the Hospice Renfrew. We thank you for all of your support and exemplary care towards George that were provided to him during his stay at your facility.

George’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home. Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place. Blanche Antler
March 24, 1927 – January 2, 2021

Antler, Blanche Marion (Kumm) peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Antler. Loving mother of Joan Gray and Joanne (Jack) Ferguson of Eganville. Grandmother of Connie Gogolin (Mervin), Kevin Gray (Jenah), Michael Ferguson and Steven Ferguson (Katie). Great-grandmother of Britany, Haley, Karley, Hayden, Landon, Ryken, Addison, Bryson and Lainey. Predeceased by her sisters Joyce Laundry and Betty Graham.

The family would like to express their thanks specifically to the 2nd floor staff at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.

Due to the Covid lockdown a private visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. A graveside service will take place in the spring, Covid rules permitting.
