Peacefully with family at Caressant Care McLaughlin, Lindsay on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the age of 99 years.
Alice Burnett (nee Stewart), of 114 McLaughlin Road, Lindsay and formerly of Beachburg, dearly loved wife of the late Arthur Burnett. Dear mother of Patricia Fraser (husband Doug), Arnprior; Eleanor Pencharz (husband Paul), Toronto; Bill Burnett (wife Maureen), Pontypool. Nana to Susan (Chris), Nancy (Michael) and Robert (Janyne); Sarah, Jonathan (Donna), James (Farah); Barry, Shauna (Thomas), Karla (Guy), Darren (Renee) and Stuart and great-grandchildren Ellie, Gillian, Ewan, Duncan, Thomas, Tierney, Declan, Niall, Emmit, Genevieve, Zoe, Veronique, Quentin, Chase, Abbie, Ellie, Thomas and Leila. Daughter of the late William and Mable Stewart. Sister of the late Irvin Stewart (wife late Rose); late Ada Connery (husband late James); late Joseph (wife Dorothy). Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Sunday, May 7. Respecting Alice’s wishes a private family service will take place at a later date. Interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery.
