NOACK, Barbara – peacefully at Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in her 79th year.
Barb Noack (nee Wise) of Pembroke, wife of the late Harold Noack. Mother of Kim Hendriksen, Fruitvale BC; Billy Noack (Lorraine), Pembroke; Debbie Heins (Dan), Cobden and David Noack (Lenette), Westerrose, AB. Grandma to Tina, Jessica, Tyler & Chris; Kristen & Stephanie; Emma & Nikki; Chad, Bob, Ryland, Colton, Caiden & Dax; Shaun & Kyle and 10 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Alfred and Frieda Wise (nee Tunnish). Sister of Mac Wise (Shirley). Special friend and companion of Art Smith. Barb was predeceased by her daughter Kelly Noack and brother Ron Wise (late Rita). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Barb’s wishes, her body has been donated to the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Monday, December 5, at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes will take place in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church or Maurice J. Grimes Lodge would be appreciated.
