BRYAN KENNY

His positive attitude and loving nature touched the lives of all those he met. It is with great sadness that the family of Bryan Kenny announces his peaceful passing on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 surrounded by his family, at the age of 80 years. Cherished husband for 60 years of June Kenny (Howard) and beloved father of Paul (Cheryl), Brenda (Terry Miller), Stephen (Karen), Terry (Charlene), Karen (Ian Bromley), Paula (Jason Rolston), and Jane (Matt Chaput). Grandpa/Poppy will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Todd (Cheryl), Phillip (Amanda), Derek (Mandi), Jared (Trista), Bryana (Brad Musson), Laura (Dustin Belaire), Emma, Brett, Olivia, Tara, Joanne (Henk Schuurman), Kaylee, Tyson (Alanna), Kade, Lexie, Bryn, and Ayla, for all the pepsi and ice cream. He will be missed by his great grandchildren: Hayden, Tara, Grace, Nolan, Logan, Liam, Skye, Darcy, Brendan, Raquelle, Lochlan, Malaki, Kaydance, Claire, Garrett, Leighton, Elliot, Alaina, and Easton, for his warm lap and loving arms. His loss will be felt greatly by his loving sisters Marilyn Robillard and Kathy Brown. Bryan was predeceased by his parents, Dyer and Geneva and his sister, Sheila Gervais and his grandson, Stephen. Following a successful and fulfilling career at Atomic Energy of Canada, Bryan retired to help his wife run the family business, Kenny’s Store and to continue to work the family farm. The family would like to sincerely thank the nurturing and loving staff at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, 3rd Floor, and Dr. Hing, for the outstanding care. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bryan with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME,296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, on Thursday, February 16 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westmeath on Friday, February 17th, 2017 at 11 a.m., followed by cremation.
