KENNEDY, Doris Drusilla – peacefully passed away at her home on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the age of 83 years.
Drusilla Kennedy (nee Broome) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Robert Kennedy. Dear friend of Leslie Hein. Loving mother of Susan Timm (Glenn), Pembroke; Tom Kennedy (Donna), Pembroke; and Mick Kennedy (Mary Ann), Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Wanda Fischer and Dennis Fischer (Leah); Sean Kennedy; Adam Kennedy (Crystal) and Ian Kennedy. Great-grandmother of Joshua, Velicia and Sarah. Daughter of the late Lester and Ethel Broome (nee Cowie). Sister of Eleanor Tabbert (late Henry) Cobden. Predeceased by sister Hilda Donaldson-Baker. Aunt to many nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation was at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, September 27. Funeral Service was held at First Presbyterian Church, Pembroke on Wednesday. Cremation to follow. A private family interment of ashes in Calvin United/First Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date.
