It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Essie Scott of Cobden, who passed away peacefully in Caressant Care Retire Home Cobden, on Sunday January 14, 2018 in her 93rd year. Essie Scott, nee Francis, beloved wife of the late Wm. Bill Scott. Dear mother of Mac (Joan) Scott, Murray Scott, Gilbert (Marian) Scott and Joan Scott. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Rachel Felske. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Friday January 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. And Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the chapel at 11 a.m. Spring interment Douglas Public Cemetery, Douglas, Ontario.
