GERRITJE (GERTIE) ROOK
Of Renfrew and formerly of RR5 Cobden, passed away peacefully in Caressant Care Nursing and Retirement Home Cobden, on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Gertie Rook, nee Stokebrand, beloved wife of Dirk Rook. Dear mother of Harriet (Ray Johnston), William (Linda) Rook, Harold (Monique) Rook, Gerry (Linda) Rook, Henry (Waveney) Rook, Keith Rook and Brian (Pamela) Rook. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 sister-in-law in Holland. Friends called at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Wednesday January 24. Service in the Hebron Community Christian Reformed Church Renfrew on Thursday at 11 a.m. Spring interment St. Patrick’s Anglican Cemetery Lower Stafford. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation or Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated.
