IRENE KENNEY
Formerly of Beachburg, passed away at Miramichi Lodge on Friday, July 8th, 2016 in her 91st year.
Irene Kenney (nee Hawthorne), beloved wife of the late Robert Kenney. Dearly loved mother of Douglas (Kathy) Kenney, Elaine (Lynden) McIntyre, Eleanor (Bob) Wright, and Grant (Kathy) Kenney. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Adam, Laura, Emily, Jerry, Brent, Barry, Curtis & Steven and by 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Evelyn Stephens (Emmett) and sisters-in-law Velma Hawthorne, Elaine Hawthorne and Rita Hawthorne. Predeceased by her sisters Wilma Read, Averil (Albert) Davidson, brothers Percy Hawthorne, Versel Hawthorne and Willis Hawthorne.
Friends called at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke on Monday, July 11. Funeral Service from St. Andrew’s United Church, Beachburg was on Tuesday. Interment Beachburg Union Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to St. Andrew’s United Church would be appreciated.
