Passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Belleville on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in her 101st year.
Lois Anderson (nee Broome), formerly of Westmeath, wife of the late Joseph Anderson. Dear mother of Fay Burnett (late Bob), Belleville; predeceased by son Bill Anderson (late Peggy). Grandmother of Kim Weinhold (Wayne), Belleville & Jason Burnett (Katharine), Stouffville; and Jim Anderson (Anne), St. Catherine’s & Andy Anderson (Darlene), Westmeath. Great-grandmother of Meghan & Logan; Kate & Liam; Christine & William; and Dawn, Laura, Stephaine & Andrew. Great-great-grandmother of Gavin, Teagan & Clayton; Delilah & Wyatt; and Hailey. Daughter of the late John and Margaret Broome (nee Baird). Survived by sister Lillian Wright, Pembroke. Predeceased by sister Evelyn Dougherty and brothers Ivan, Harry, Lorne, Lester, Allan & Harvey Broome. Very special aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, February 15. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Westmeath on Thursday at 11 a.m. Spring interment in Westmeath Union Cemetery.
