MARTIN VEREYKEN
We are saddened to announce that Martin Vereyken left us prayerfully, with his loving family at his side, at Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in his 84th year. Martin Vereyken of Pembroke and formerly of Beachburg, beloved husband of Cathy Vereyken (nee Veeke). Loved and cherished father of Paula Troutman (Rick), Beachburg, Mary-Ann Brideau (Mitch) and Karen Lee (Jon) both of Pembroke. Loving Opa to Nathan (Jen), Nicholas (Emily), Matthew (Sarah), Chantal (Steven), Nathalie (Marc), Megan (Robbie) and Paige, and great-grandchildren Ella, Tucker, Thomas, Parker, David and Hunter. Brother of Pieta Schroeder (Harvey), Sr. Ann Regier CSJ, Mary Van Roy (Martin), Archie Vereyken (Nellie) and predeceased by Johnny Vereyken (late Ann), Paula Vereyken and Frank Vereyken. Brother-in-law of Joan Hoffman. Martin will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join with Martin’s Family for a Funeral Mass on Saturday morning February 10, at 11 o’clock in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, LaPasse. The Rosary and silent prayer will be made available an hour before the Mass. Spring Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
