of Forester’s Falls, passed away peacefully in Hospice Renfrew, surrounded by his family, on Sunday May 6, 2018 in his 92nd year. Kay Coleman, beloved husband of the late Esther (nee Curry). Predeceased by his sister Doris Williams (Leonard).  Dear father of Connie Kohlsmith, Terry, Bob (Lori), Sheila (Janyce Gunn). Also survived by 8 grandchildren: Don Dick (Shelley), Jef Kohlsmith (Rachel Seaver), Carolyn Kohlsmith (Summer Boone), Jamie Coleman (Tracy Hunt), Brad Coleman (Stephanie), Nick Coleman (Amy), Jennifer Leblanc (Joseph), Janice Gilchrist (Brad Coombs) and 15 great-grandchildren: William, MacKenzie, Laura, Kayla, Alexander, Casey, Ethan, Michelle, Jacob, Veronica, Lela, Vienna, Daniel, Gracen, Norah and  1 great-great grandchild, Reese.  He will be greatly missed by his cherished companion Beth Somerville. Friends may call at the Fraser–Morris and Heubner Funeral Home in Cobden, on Thursday May 10 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Trinity United Church, Forester’s Falls, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Howard Cemetery in Forester’s Falls. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Trinity United Church Memorial Fund or the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Kay received incredibly compassionate medical care during his illness and the family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Low and the staff of Renfrew Victoria Hospital and Hospice Renfrew.
