Walter Alexander Dodds
Peacefully on Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 at the Almonte General Hospital at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Laverna (Logan) for 61 years. Loving father of Ron (Christine), Bonnie (Doug Eady) and Lisa Marie (Sean Gordon). Papa to Scott (Erin) Dodds, Steven Dodds, Katie (Darren Ross), Michael Eady, Connor Gordon, Caelan Gordon and Abi Gordon. Great-grandpa to Jackson Dodds. Survived by his siblings Evelyn (Forrest Latimer), late Fern Watts, Marlin (Trevor Small), Wesley (Monique), Lois (late Eddie Rump), and late Barb Hill. Predeceased by his parents Walter & Nora Dodds as well as his infant son Timothy Scott Dodds.
The family will receive friends at the Anderson Funeral Home, 22 Raglan Street South Renfrew, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at 10:30 am in Grace United Church, 27 Main Street Cobden, with interment to follow at Haley Union Cemetery.
