An entrepreneur and resident of Renfrew, David Ainsworth is the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) official candidate for the 2019 federal election, following a candidate’s election held on May 25 at the Cobden Legion Hall.

“As an EDA, we are very proud to be representing Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada in the riding of Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke and to uphold David Ainsworth as our PPC candidate,” said Daniel Mazur, CEO of the Renfrew-Nippissing-Pembroke PPC Association. “Maxime’s voice and message represent the opinions and perspectives of thousands of Canadians across the country who feel like the traditional political parties have ignored them in favour of political posturing and pandering.”

Mr Mazur added the association is dedicated to organizing locally to ensure the success of the new Party in the upcoming fall elections. The 2019 Canadian federal election is scheduled to take place on or before October 21.
