RENFREW COUNTY (Renfrew) — The County of Renfrew, in partnership with the Province of Ontario, once again offered a program to assist homeowners to access funding for upgrades to their homes to enhance their quality of life.
Councillor Debbie Robinson, Chair of the County of Renfrew Social Services Committee, thanked the residents of the County of Renfrew for their support for this program.
“We were amazed at the popularity of the Ontario Renovates Program. It is encouraging to know that more than thirty of our most vulnerable residents were able to access this program in order to improve their home and improve their quality of life.”
Ontario Renovates is a program that provides financial assistance to homeowners by way of a forgivable loan to repair their home to acceptable standards while improving the energy efficiency and/or increasing accessibility of their unit. Due to the overwhelming number of applications received, the Renfrew County Housing Corporation is no longer accepting applications to the program.
