Marine Safety
Many people will be boating in the coming months and the OPP would like to remind those people to make safety their first consideration prior to going out on the water. Many boaters do not have the minimum required safety equipment on board their boat. The requirements change depending on the boat length and type. Don’t let a leisurely day on the water become a tragedy.
Prepare your boat ahead of time for a summer of fun boating for everyone. For more information on safety equipment for your boat type go to www.boatingsafety.gc.ca
