OPP’s community street crime unit executes search warrant in LV township

OPP’S COMMUNITY STREET CRIME UNIT EXECUTE SEARCH WARRANT IN LAURENTIAN VALLEY TOWNSHIP

LAURENTIAN VALLEY — On Wednesday, January 17, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in Laurentian Valley Township.
A quantity of drugs was seized and as a result of the investigation two Laurentian Valley Township residents are facing Criminal Code (CC) and CDSA charges.
Kellie Marie Cummings, aged 48, was charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.
Luc Alexandre Bromley, aged 20, faces the following CDSA and CC charges: possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine; Traffick a schedule II substance – cannabis marihuana and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
Both were released on a promise to appear and are schedule to attend court onTuesday, February 27, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
