PEEVER W. BURGESS
Peacefully passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the age of 90 years.
Peever Burgess of Pembroke, dearly beloved husband of the late Betty Burgess (nee McIntosh) and by first marriage the late Milda Burgess (nee Kathen). Dear father of Anita Ming, Edmonton; David Burgess (Laurie), Pembroke; Elaine Davidson (Myles), Cobden; Jeffrey Burgess (Mary), Pembroke; Robert Burgess (Elaine), Kitchener; Miriam Burgess (Curt Corrigan), Kingston; and Charles Burgess (Wendy), Barrie. Step-father of Lesley Prange (Stuart), Wellesley. Grandpa to Aaron & Andrea; Andrew & Rachel; Phillip; Brad & Matthew; Jennifer & Natalie; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Son of the late William “Nat” and Sarah “Sadie” Burgess (nee Rollins). Predeceased by sister Elizabeth “Betty” Green and brother Lyle Burgess.
Respecting Peever’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at Petawawa Presbyterian Church, 24 Ethel St., Petawawa on Thursday, September 27 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family burial of ashes in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke at a later date.
