Police seize drugs in Renfrew

RENFREW COUNTY (Renfrew) — On June 16, officers with the Renfrew OPP conducted a traffic stop on Gillan Road. During the investigation, officers seized a quantity of suspected hydromorphone pills, available only by prescription. Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) have also seized the vehicle and the individual’s cell phone.

Pierro Marinelli, age 50 of Renfrew, has been charged with possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on September 2.
