Each year, the Royal Canadian Legion hosts Remembrance Day poster and poem contests. Schools in Whitewater Region participate through the Cobden Legion, Branch 550. This year’s winners were announced following the Remembrance Day Service held Saturday in Cobden. Kent McLaughlin, Cobden Legion president, presented four of the winners with their certificates.
