COBDEN — A short Whitewater Region council meeting was held Wednesday, Dec. 2 to pass motions that were agreed to earlier in the public works committee meeting.
These are motions regarding tenders and request for proposals that had been discussed in November, but more information was required before they could be passed by the committee to go before council.
The information provided was positive so the recommendations to award contracts were passed.
Brown’s Window and Door was awarded the contract for the garage door replacement at the Westmeath garage at a cost of $22,292.92.
JW HVAC Services will put in a new heating system at the Mineview Garage for $24,170.70.
The garage door at the Mineview Garage will be replaced by Dennis Wren Construction at a cost of $28,052.25.
