Crozier said that the Recycling expenses dropped by $11,000, with waste expenses dropping by $3,100, and landfill expenses increased by $42,940.
he said the landfill increase was due to a feasibility expansion study as well fuel and oil increase of $68,000.
Public Works head Lane Cleroux said that the landfill expansion would be detailed in next week’s meeting.
He also said that the curbsite pickup fee for garbage increased to $160 to $164, for a $4 increase.
Mayor Nicholson said he would ‘like to hear the function of the weightscales, and I haven’t heard a single complaint.”
