RENFREW COUNTY — Businesses in Renfrew County unable to access existing federal relief measures can now apply for funding under the new initiative. The Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) will support businesses unable to access the Government of Canada’s existing relief measures, and enhance access to capital for rural businesses.
In order to provide targeted assistance to the small towns and communities served, Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation (RCCFDC) will focus on assisting “main street” businesses, such as retail shops, restaurants, corner stores, and businesses of strategic importance to our communities, with loans up to $40,000. Visit their website for more information on eligibility and the application process.
“The Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation has been working steady to assist small and medium sized businesses since the pandemic crisis started in mid-March,” said Ray Bonnenberg, Chair of the Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation. “This recent funding announcement is a welcome addition to the assistance we have been able to provide up to now. We are also focused on working collaboratively with many partners in securing and mobilizing additional resources to address the COVID-19 situation. Please watch for future updates online.”
