The Township of the Council of Whitewater Region met on September 7 at the Municipal Town Hall in Cobden at 4:47pm for the Regular Council Meeting.
Mayor Moore attended remotely due to testing positive for COVID-19.
There were no disclosures of interest.
There were two notices of motion, one from Councillor Dave Mackay and the other from Councillor Daryl McLaughlin.
“Can we look into natural ice into the Beachburg rink because of all the other problems with the plant and the plant room, and maybe that would be a solution for this year.” Councillor Mackay said. “We’re going to have the staff look into that and see if that’s a solution.”
Councillor McLaughlin said that he wanted staff to find out how many bass tournaments occur on Muskrat Lake and what their revenue was, based on a question asked to him at the Cobden Civitan meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 5:24 pm.
