The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated 215 calls for service between March 11 to 17.
Domestic Violence
Arnprior and Renfrew officers investigated 10 domestic disputes during the past week. One male was charged with, three counts of assault and two counts of Mischief under $5000.

Drug Charges
On Friday, March 15, acting on information of people in possession of a controlled substance, officers with the Community Street Crime Unit, located the vehicle being used and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the investigation Colin Campbell, 29-years-old of Renfrew, has been charged with two counts possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking. Amanda Graham, 34-years-old of Renfrew and Ryan Ravesloot, 35-years-old of Renfrew, have both been charged with two counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking. Both parties were released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, in Renfrew on Wednesday, April 17.
On Monday, March 11, officers with the Renfrew Detachment responded to a police assistance call in the Town of Renfrew. As a result of the investigation, Darren Pearce, 34-years-old of Renfrew, has been charged with three counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of failing to comply with probation order.
Impaired Driving
On Saturday, March 16, an officer with the Renfrew Detachment was conducting traffic enforcement in the town of Arnprior and conducted a traffic stop on Elgin Street. As a result of the investigation, Ryan Beath, 37-years-old of Arnprior, has been charged with impaired driving and driving with over 80mg. He was released on a promise to appear on Wednesday, April 3 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew,
On Sunday, March 17, an officer with the Renfrew Detachment was conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 17 near Arnprior. The officer initiated a traffic stop on White Lake Road. As a result of the investigation Rodney Wilson, 52-years-old of McNab/Braeside Township has been charged with impaired driving and driving with over 80mg. He was released on a promise to appear on Wednesday, April 3, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew.
Fraud
The Renfrew OPP would like to remind the public to confirm the accreditation of any door-to-door canvassers before providing them with any personal information or a monetary donation. Calls have been received of persons going door to door requesting donations that are not associated to a charity.
