Robbery at business results in charges

RENFREW COUNTY (Renfrew) — On January 7 at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers with the Renfrew OPP responded to a Robbery call at a business on Hall Avenue in the Town of Renfrew. The accused entered the business after hours and attempted to steal multiple items. 

The accused was later located and as a result of the investigation Skylar Eady, 24 years old of the Town of Renfrew has been charged with:

  • Uttering Threats contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC);
  • Robbery with a weapon contrary to section 344(1)(b) of the CC;
  • Theft under $5000.00 contrary to section 344(b) of the CC; and
  • Break and Enter contrary to section 348(1)(a) of the CC.

The accused was held for a bail hearing on January 8 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
