Passed away peacefully at the North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre in Deep River on Friday July 31, 2015 in his 89th year. Russell was married to his beloved wife Norma (nee Burgess) for 67 years. Dear father to Penny Pettigrew-Farnel (husband Bruce), Mackey, Ontario. Son of the late William and Nellie Pettigrew (nee Moore). Brother to Eleanor Black, Cobden, Brother-in-law to Pete McClelland, Beachburg. Predeceased by brother Carl, sister-in-law Frances, sister-in-law Dot McClelland, sister and brother-in-law Connie and Franklin Zadow, and brother and sister-in-law Bevot and Mable Burgess. Russell will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Tuesday, August 11, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Service in Trinity United Church Foresters Falls, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment Howard Cemetery, Foresters Falls. As expressions of sympathy donations to Trinity United Church Memorial Fund or North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre would be appreciated.
