COBDEN– Whitewater Region Township Mayor Hal Johnson presented Beachburg resident Sam Graham with a Community Champion citation at last night’s committee of council meeting.
He noted council has been following Mr. Graham’s career for some time and is very impressed.
Mr. Graham’s most recent accomplishment was as a competitor on the provincial wheelchair basketball team at the Canada Winter Games held last month in British Columbia. The Ontario team placed fifth.
“This is amazing,” Mr. Graham said after the presentation.
