On Sunday, February 19, the Cobden and District Royal Canadian Legion held the annual public speaking competition for students up to Grade 8. The speakers covered topics ranging from puppies to gender equality, showing their skills in research, composition and public speaking. All are to be commended on the excellent presentations which were appreciated by an attentive audience.
