PEMBROKE — On Friday, July 6th, as a result of a lengthy investigation, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), UOV Crime Unit (CU) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the City of Pembroke. One male was arrested in the residence and various types of drugs and a large quantity of recovered stolen property was seized.
Kyle Peplinskie, age 31 of Pembroke, is charged with the following offences: 15 counts of Possession for the purpose of trafficking C.D.S.A. 5(2); Two counts of Possessing prohibited weapons and ammunition, C.C. 92(2); Two counts of Possession of a weapon and ammunition while prohibited, C.C. 117.01(1); Two counts of Possession of property obtained by crime – under $5,000.00, and One count of Possession of proceeds of crime – under $5,000.00, C.C. 354(1)(a), and One count of Possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose, C.C. 88.
The accused is being held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in Pembroke Court on Monday, July 23, 2018.
