The Council of the Township of Whitewater Region heard a motion to:
- Approve the entering into a Site Plan Agreement with 274259 Ontario Ltd. to permit the redevelopment of 240 Pinewood Park, subject to the final approval by the CAO.
- Approve the removal of the holding symbol from those lands located within the Campground Commercial – Exception Four – holding (CC-E4-h) Zone.
Planner Burton said that the Council had adopted the bylaw amendment in 2019, where they had proposed to add “an additional 10 campground sites primarily family purposes” and required the submission of certain reports and studies.
“Since July 2019, the property owner has filed the necessary reports, being the environmental impact study, the Stage 1 archaeological assessment and they’d applied to the Ministry of the Environment for Servicing.”
He said that they’d ‘fulfilled all the requirements” to remove the holding symbol with the submission of these reports.
The motion was carried with no questions.
