WHITEWATER REGION — Yesterday an electronic meeting of the Council of the Township of Whitewater Region was held. Moved by Councillor Daryl McLaughlin and seconded by Councillor Dave Mackay, the meeting moved into closed session at 4:35 p.m. This is permitted under Section 9 of the procedure bylaw.
According to Township documentation, staff participated in the meeting to discuss two matters; a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any potential agreements with Junior hockey teams; and a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board, in regards to the Foresters Falls library property line adjustment.
