Friday, December 1,
Our Lady of Grace Catholic School – Illuminating our Community 2017; 5pm for our Christmas tree lighting. Traditional Christmas Carols, hot chocolate and good cheer. All funds will support Marianhill Inc. Palliative Care Unit.

Old-fashioned Christmas Tree Lighting and Carol Sing at Ross Museum in Foresters Falls at 7 p.m. There will be a Carol Sing and entertainment by Aggie Pilon at St Aidan’s Church followed by tree lighting at Ross House, 2022 Foresters Falls Rd. Enjoy Mulled cider and hot chocolate with Christmas homemade sweets. All welcome. A family friendly event.

Friday, December 1 & Saturday, December 2
Cobden Christmas Farmers Market — The Christmas Craft Market will be held noon to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and 2 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Over 120 tables of local handmade food and gifts located in three buildings: Cobden Agricultural Hall; Farmers Market Building; Cobden Legion – upper level

Saturday, December 2
Beachburg Santa Claus Parade, 5:30 p.m. Santa will meet with the children at the Beachburg Fire Hall after the parade.  Hot chocolate and coffee will be served.
Sunday, December 3, 7pm

Advent-Christmas Hymn Sing at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Cobden, Highway 17 (beside the park) 7 p.m..  Special Music; carol singing; refreshments and visiting. Freewill offering to the Cobden & District Food Bank.  All Welcome!

Wednesday, December 6
A Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop will be held in the Cobden Public School Library, 4 to 5:30 p.m. For information, call 613-602-2675
 
Saturday, December 9
Riverview Seniors Social Club Christmas Dinner and Dance at Westmeath Community Centre Hall
Doors open at 5 p.m. Social Hour at 5:30 p.m., Dinner served at 6 p.m. Turkey Dinner with all the Trimmings. Music from 7:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. by Station Hill. $25 per person. Contact 613-587-4834 for your ticket or members of RSSC
