In last week’s story, Fun for the whole family at Whitewater Streetstrut, there needs to be a clarification.
It was stated they played for 90 minutes for the full fee, but it was a full concert for half the price.
Councillor Chris Olmstead, who was leading the committee, said, The Headstones agreed to play for the township for approximately half of their normal rate to help get the festival started. They played a full set for approximately half the fee.
Update
There will be a preliminary report about Whitewater Streetstrut at the Aug. 2 council meeting with a full report at the September meeting, noted Chief Administrative Officer Robert Tremblay.
