Planner Ivan Burton said that due to him taking a leave of ‘approximately eight weeks at the end of March”, and that he and the CAO had reviewed different options to see that planning services continue.
He said that the department would run planning matters through the County of Renfew, and that they would engage external planning services or other municipalities should urgent matters arise.
He said that the CAO “would provide management support to planning and building services” and the Parks and Recreation manager, Jordan Durocher, would handle matters of economic development and corporate communications.
The motion was carried without questions.
