Dear Editor:
Thank you Mr. Joe Kowalski for appreciating the value that our local paper was to many readers each week. Whether they lived in the area or were at a distance, it kept everyone in the loop as to what was happening in this special corner of the world, which meant something to each person reading its contents.
Living next door to the “Cobden Sun” since the spring of 1985, I appreciated the value the paper was to this area and all the long hours and hard work that went into each issue.
Connie Tabbert, thank you for being part of the new WhitewaterNews.ca. It will be great having a paper once again that cares about our little piece of the world.
I just finished reading the first issue and enjoyed it very much. It felt good to see and hear about things that happened in our area this week. I will be looking forward to next week to see what has happened in our area that we otherwise may not know about.
I hope the area people will embrace this newspaper and remember every week what they were missing by not having one.
Thank you, again, and all the best in this new adventure and may be it to be good for everyone involved.

Dear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You for making WhitewaterNews.ca a reality! I have missed having a local newspaper that covers local events.
I look forward to reading about our community in the weeks and months to come and wish you every success with this endeavour.
Cheers!

Dear Editor:
Joe and Connie, this is so exciting as we certainly need a local newspaper!
Wishing you great success and hopefully will see the expansion of news stories online and also a paper version!
Although I read numerous papers online it is never the same as holding it in your hands and having it sit on the coffee table for future reading. It must be an age thing!!!
All the best,
Pat Krose

Dear Editor:
Connie, this is great news.
When we first moved to Cobden in 1971, the Cobden Sun was one page of news print, printed on both sides. No colour pictures, not much advertising, no newspaper awards, just bits and pieces of local news and events that kept the community connected.
I have been hoping that someone would pick up the ball in a simple way and give it a go again.
Best wishes in your endeavor.
Isabelle Eady,
Cobden

Dear Editor:
Greetings Connie.
Hurrah! I am so glad that someone has taken the initiative to establish a news network for our area. I am certain that it will be well received. Everyone misses the Cobden Sun so much.
I wish you well and I will definitely support your efforts.
Good luck!
Erma Johnson,
Beachburg
