Theft from truck parked at Gibson’s Garage in Cobden

COBDEN — Renfrew OPP report that sometime between Monday, March 6 and Wednesday, March 8, someone broke into the cargo/tool box of a pick-up truck parked in the lot of Gibson’s Garage at 65 Main Street.
Once the thief got into the tool box, two rifles were stolen. Several other pieces of construction equipment and cordless power tools were also taken during the theft.
Provincial Constable Mark Yarmel is investigating.
