WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — Renfrew OPP are on the lookout for a thief who is leaving behind a trail.

Police say the thief entered several change rooms at the Astolabe Arena in Cobden on Sunday, March 11 and stole personal property including ball caps, wallets and cell phones.

The thefts took place between 6 p.m. and 8:20 p.m.

The suspect was seen exiting through a fire door. He’s being described as 5-foot-7 inches tall with a medium build and wearing a hoodie with a jacket over top and boots.

A debit or credit card that was stolen from the arena was used later that night at the Ultramar Gas Bar in Arnprior and later at a Fresh Mart in Ottawa.
