WHITEWATER REGION (Beachburg) — For the week of February 25 to Monday March 4, the Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre will be switching over to a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

During this transition all existing appointments, urgent care and programs are continuing as usual.

People calling in to make an appointment for a future date are being asked to call back during the first week of March.

All staff are receiving intensive training during the week of February 25 to March 4 on the new system. Once the new system is launched on March 4 we do anticipate  that some things will take us longer. In order to address this we are scheduling extra staff to help us manage this change over.

This new EMR is being rolled out to Community Health Centers across the province and will enable us to provide interdisciplinary care in a more efficient way.

If clients or community members have any questions or concerns around this transition please contact Brenda Powers-Ross, Director of Whitewater Bromley CHC.

We appreciate your patience during this time.
