Two break-ins at former Westmeath Public School

WESTMEATH — Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers and the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a break and enter.
In the early morning hours of November 24, 2016 police responded to a break and enter at the former Westmeath Public School on Graham Street in Westmeath.  Police found items had been overturned inside the building and a vending machine had been damaged.
On the evening of December 18, 2016 police responded to another break and enter at the former school and once again a vending machine was damaged.
Based on evidence at the scene, police believe there are at least two suspects involved in each break and enter.   
Crime Stoppers Pembroke/Renfrew County believes that someone may have information that could assist police in solving this crime. If you have information on any criminal offence that results in charges being laid, you qualify for an award of up to $2,000.
