URBAN PATRICK ‘PAT’ HAGARTY

Monday, December 13th, 1954 – Saturday, April 13th, 2019

At home on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 in his 65th year. Pat Hagarty of Pembroke, beloved son of Mary Stiles (nee Kelly) of Pembroke. Predeceased by father Lloyd Sr. Hagarty, and step-father Robert Stiles. Dear brother of Colleen (Richard) Painter of Sarnia, Lloyd Jr. (Cathy) Hagarty of Pembroke, Suzanne (David) Pilon of Eganville and Jo Anne Filippi of Pembroke. Dear step-brother of Darrell (Ann) Stiles and families of Alberta, Dwight (the late Judy) Stiles of Pembroke, and Danny Stiles and family of Alberta. Loving uncle to godson Christopher (Amy) Painter of Cincinnati, Cindy (Tom) Haslip of Sarnia, Jill Hagarty (Mike Ellis) of Pembroke, Jodi Hagarty (Alan Godin) of Pembroke, godson Shaun (Sandra) Hagarty of Kingston, Michael (Natalie) Hagarty of Pembroke, Jason (Aprill) Filippi of Beachburg, Derek Pilon (Amanda Holtz) of Eganville, goddaughter Alicia Filippi (Ryan Dziedzic) of Pembroke, Lucas, Quinton, Maiya, Leigha, Shayla, and Mira Stiles of Pembroke. Sadly missed by many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Pat will be sadly missed by his former wife Gail Lem of Smith Falls, and his first wife Judy Debiens of Pembroke. Pat had many life-long friends and close ties in the community through his careers at MacKay Manor, AECL serving as President of his local union, and Storwal. His kind, countless volunteer hours he worked helping people will not be forgotten. Pat had a great love of hockey whether playing, or cheering for his beloved Boston Bruins. Pat’s kindness and caring shone through with his love of animals. One of Pat’s accomplishments he was proud of was the building of replica ships that are now displayed in the Gananoque Boat Museum and Ottawa museums. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke on Sunday, April 21, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, Pembroke on Monday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the Robbie Dean Family Counselling Centre would be appreciated.
