PEMBROKE — Following the municipal election on Monday, Oct. 27, County of Renfrew Warden Peter Emon shared this message, “I would like to extend congratulations to everyone who let their name stand, their families and the volunteers who put out signs, knocked on doors, and gave of themselves in support of a democratic process. We are better for your efforts, and your example of civic service, truly represents who we are in Renfrew County.”

With 12 new councillors, and five returning councillors, County Council will have many new faces around the table when the new council takes their seats in December. Below is a list of how those seats will be filled:
