Michelle Dupuis and son Daley Wagner have joined the Roots of Empathy program at the Bonnechere Manor Day Program in Cobden. They joined the program last month. As part of the Intergenerational Program, Michelle and Daley will be coming to the program once a month for a year. The new ‘roots’ baby has a special connection at the program as he is the grandson of client Trish Dupuis. The program usually begins when the baby is three months old. However, the program was later getting started. Daley was born October 23, 2017 and is six months old, so will continue to come until he is 18 months old. This allows the clients of the day program to watch how he grows and changes each month. This program ran last year and the clients enjoyed it so much, it was agreed to do it again, said Brenda Robson, a staff member of the Day Program. Photo submitted
