Saturday, March 6th, at high noon, the WDRA held a take-out BBQ at the bottom of the entranceway into the Hall. For an hour, two volunteers took orders for the kitchen staff to prepare hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork on a bun and homemade cookies and deliver the completed orders outside. Thanks to all those that showed up for adhering to Covid-19 rules.
The take-out was successful with sales of 120 orders, more than anticipated. The was the WDRA’s first Fundraiser in one full year.
A take-out of a full chicken dinner and desert is planned for March 20th. Orders must be received by March 16th. Email [email protected] or telephone 613-587-4518 to order. You will be advised what time to pickup at the entranceway into the Westmeath Community Hall.
