The annual general meeting of the Westmeath District Recreation Association was recently held.
No newnames were put up for nomination, so the existing board was returned by acclamation.
President Brenda Grady summed up the meeting in this fashion.
“It was a very successful year especially with the hockey program, tween dances and upgrades, including insulation and painting of the arena,” she said.
