I am excited and want to welcome two new businesses to our area, Pickle Vixens in Beachburg and Essential Helicopters at Wilderness Tours. Both are indicative of the new entrepreneurial spirit in the region.
Forever on a diet, I have yet to sample the Pickle Vixen food but have heard rave reviews.
Essential Helicopters is offering rides over the Ottawa River every weekend from $50-90 depending on the length of the ride. If you haven’t seen the Rocher-Fendu from the air, you are in for a majestic treat. You’ll see hundreds of islands, rapids, waterfalls, beaches, wildlife habitat and lots of kayaks and rafts.
