WHITEWATER REGION (Westmeath) — The Westmeath & District Recreation Association (WDRA), with the FCC AgriSpirit Fund capital grant of $15 thousand, will proceed with the removal and replacement of the windows. The windows  have exceeded their life expectancy in the second-floor Westmeath Community Hall.

“It will be more pleasing to the community members coming to use the hall – year-round,” said Brenda Grady, WDRA President.

These double-section awning windows will reduce heat loss in the winter and prohibit heat on air-conditioned days. As well, it will improve the aesthetics of the hall itself.
