There were only a few people on main street in Westmeath Sunday evening to watch the Santa Claus Parade. But, that’s because most of the people were cheering the parade participants on at the end of the parade — where Santa was going to arrive — Westmeath Arena.
After entering the hall and working his way through the crowd, Santa found a seat on stage and it wasn’t long before a little one was sitting on his lap, whispering all she wanted to see under the tree Christmas morn.
The Jolly Old Elf was kept busy for quite some time listening to the children..but he didn’t mind, he was enjoying himself.
