Whitewater Region Township
The contest concluded on November 26th. Over 60 local businesses participated with ballot boxes accepting suggestions for businesses and resources in Whitewater Region. The contest obtained some remarkable results. Over 2200 suggestions were submitted for the Info Station.
The Info Station is an online searchable database designed to make it easy to find goods and services offered in Whitewater Region. Go to Whitewaterregion.com to find the Info Station. Type in the product or service that you are looking for and every listing that mentions this product or service will show up in the results+. Click on the result that you are interested in and you will see their full customized listing. The listing can include contact info, website link, map, pictures, and other details.
Suggestions range from a seven year old offering dog sitting services to our region’s largest employer; Haley Industries. Many suggestions were submitted electronically at www.whitewaterregion.com/infostation. This portal will continue to be the place to suggest businesses and resources for the Info Station. There are still many businesses and resources that have not been suggested yet. Business owners can suggest their own business to ensure that they are offered the free listing in the Info Station. Suggestions can be given directly to Andrew Kenny at 613 646-2282 ext. 133.
Appreciation should go to the local businesses that sponsored the contest.
