Whitewater Historical Society Needs Volunteers

Volunteers are busy cleaning and setting up the buildings in the museum in hopes of visitors coming this season. The community can help as we are always looking for new items to add to our collections.

Here’s a list of some items we’re looking for:

Children’s items including furniture, old photos of children in early costume, toys, especially metal toys and trucks pre 40s or 50s, story and picture books, board games and puzzles, wind up toys, any kind of doll, outfits and accessories (handmade if possible), dollhouses
Adult clothing including antique dresses, men’s wear (even interesting underwear), smocked items, embroidered, tatted or crocheted
Vintage linens
Musical instruments
For our railway section, we’d like old train tickets, photos of people at stations
Doctor’s bag and pill bottles
Sports equipment, team photos, baseball glove, hockey pucks and sticks, sports jerseys
Apothecary jars and cobblers tools

Ross Museum appreciates your donations and we thank those donors who have given items in the past.

Don’t let good old items end up in the dump!

And finally, our Gardener, Joanne Pratt, is looking for a white Bleeding Heart plant for the garden. Would you have one?

Thanks!
